 Our family members and our school friends  wanted to really great break from the pressure of works. So we organized a seaside holiday to 'Trincomalee'. We went by boat to our holiday destination the pigeon island. What a paradise it was! We were welcome by the chirping of hundreds of rock pigeons that inhabit the island.


   The beach was lovely and the water was transparent and inviting. We bathed, splashed, swam and had great fun in the sea. A grand lunch was helicoptered to us by the hotel.We all enjoyed the variety of sea food with prawns , lobsters , cuttle fish , crabs to name a few.


 After lunch we all got in to our diving gear and with the guide we dived in to sea. Under the sea it was another breathe taking coral garden paradise.There were many varieties of fish .The time we spent at pigeon island was so unforgettable.

 My favorite cricketer is Dasun Shanaka. He is a well known cricketer. He was born on September 9th 1991 in Negombo. Shanaka is famous for his all - round abilities in cricket , as he can both batting and bowling effectively. His contributions to Sri Lankan cricket have been significant, and he continues to inspire young players. Shanaka's journey teaches us that with hard work, determination and confidence. We can achieve our dreams.

He or she relieves the sufferings and pain of mankind . He cures them from disease and illness. This is due to the humanitarian service performed by them in society.
